Klippel Feil Syndrome...
Klippel feil syndrome is a congenial deformation that happens in the early stages of prenatal development. It affect the vertebrae and spine areas by fuzzing the neck area, limiting mobility. It is always paired with Scoliosis and Sprengel's which is a deformation that affects the scapulae and clavicle. Which often are develop abnormal in symmetry in the shoulder and neck areas.
I have been through all of the teasing taunting and name calling. In school I was called Head, No-neck, crooked neck, head and shoulders, and all kind of stuff that was embarrassing and hurtful as a youngster. My family never talked about it, mainly because they did not understand the condition. I started noticing a difference at about 14 and tried to compensate by working out with weights and martial arts. I even made it through four years in the U.S. Marines by being muscular to help hide that my physic was very strange.
Doctors that I have seen say they have only heard of the condition, and I am the only case they had the opportunity to examine. In my life I have only seen two besides the gentleman I mentioned earlier. One male and one female.
What's crazy is the fact that I did not know for a long time that I was also different or so called special. Just like my bones and organs did not develop normally. My cognitive reasoning may have not developed properly either.
Wow! That explains it, No wonder I felt such a struggle seeing ideas the same way as others in school.
